| Capstone Project Application (Supervisor Module) |

| Capstone Portal will be opened on 20th Oct 2011 (Thursday) 30th Nov 2011 (Wednesday) for you to submit your project proposals for Jan 2012 semester. If you would like to port over projects that were not taken up by students in July 2011 semester, please email the Project Code (e.g., JUL2011/ENG/039) and Project Title to sst-capstone@unisim.edu.sg by 30th Nov 2011. |

| For students who have enrolled for Capstone, they were given TWO options: |

| Option 1:
Students will be given a list of potential supervisors with supervisors emails and research interests/areas. Students may contact you on possible projects and decide on a project. If there is a positive outcome from the discussion, the supervisor will proceed to propose the discussed project via our Capstone Portal (IMPORTANT!!). The supervisor will then need to send an email to sst-capstone@unisim.edu.sg by 30th Nov 2011 to inform us the title of project and the name of the student whom this project is allocated to. Only by doing so, the project will be reserved for that student before project titles released.

| Option 2:
For students who do not wish to look for supervisors personally, they are to follow the following timeline:

a) Capstone Project Titles release date 16th Jan 2012, Monday 12noon to
18th Jan 2012, Wednesday 11.59am
|

b) Capstone Project selection date 18th Jan 2012, Wednesday 12noon to
20th Jan 2012, Friday 12noon
|

| All eligible supervisors for Jan2012 are required to attend the Capstone Commencement Briefing on 4th Feb 2012 (Saturday), from 2pm to 5pm.
