Title: ANALYSIS AND MONITORING OF TEMPERATURE, HUMIDITY AND PRESSURE USING WIRELESS SENSORS
Authors: CHOONG HANWEN MARCUS
Issue Date: 2009
Abstract: "Lot of things/services would not be available if there is no research on application of wireless sensors. For example, a live monitoring system set up in a tough working environment. With this feature, the end-user would be able to monitor the temperature in his office without having to walk inside the environment. This would ensure the end user to study the different working condition without having to risk his life in danger. This reports focus on how to use a pair of wireless sensors form “Crossbow” to use in a dangerous condition to monitor the temperature. The software “Mote view” can also create histogram/ graph for data analysis. Finally, alarms can also be created to inform the user if the temperature is too high or low. In this UNISIM course, there are little opportunities to study wireless communication. With this project, it allows the students to study this field on wireless sensors through researches and implementation. The materials cover in this report includes the research on Wireless network, application and the importance of wireless sensors. Furthermore, the past wireless monitoring projects that were implemented are also discussed in this report. "
