| Abstract: | For a standalone Dialysis Centre, data entry into a central patient information database is usually a manual process and can be tedious and prone to error. This work explored the feasibility of implementing a flexible, economical and extensible patient data management system for a standalone Dialysis Centre which shall use handheld mobile devices such as a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to provide the staff with mobile access to data entry and management capabilities. |
